Historic Window, Door, and
Millwork Restoration

We can fix that.

Most contractors insist upon replacement simply because they lack the skill, know-how, or resources to restore and replicate historic woodwork. Matchless Carpentry and Restoration has the expertise to fix and reproduce those “impossible” pieces to bring your home back to its former glory.

Matchless Carpentry
& Restoration

After growing up a stone’s throw from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin estate, Patrick Kelly studied architecture at the UW-Milwaukee, and completed his AAS Historic Preservation degree from the Colorado Mountain College in 2009. That same year, he founded Matchless Carpentry and Restoration, a contracting company emphasizing historic preservation and restoration. In this role, Patrick drew from early experiences in such diverse fields as dry stone walling, masonry restoration, historic molding reproduction, hardwood floor refinishing, and traditional Norwegian log building. In the years since Matchless Carpentry and Restoration was founded, they’ve grown into a full fledged window, door, and millwork restoration company with in-house capabilities to replicate, repair, and restore damaged or missing woodwork in historic homes.
